The Harold Network group is for those people who David Matt Green considers his most cherished friends.

Before DMG created ShyCloud.com at the end of 1996, he published an eclectic paper newsletter named HAROLD from 1985-96, and sent it to everyone he met in his journey through life. Those who responded and contributed updates about themselves to the newsletters became known as Haroldians.

DMG discovered the Internet in 1989, and from 1991-96 he also was the System Operator of a one-line ProLine Bulletin Board System named Pro-Harold.cts.com, where many of his Haroldian friends gained their first access to Internet e-mail and newsgroups.

During that same period, DMG organized The Harold Network (THN), a chain of over 30 independent ProLine BBSs which carried dozens of Internet newsgroups that were created and hosted right at Pro-Harold BBS.

One of those newsgroups was THN-Talk, which later morphed into an e-mail mailing list called DGA-Link (for D Green and Associates), which evolved into this group in August of 2005.

Through all of these incarnations, the various members of this group have gathered in person many times for dinners and conversation, as well as for sporting, art and theatre events.

Here on MySpace, this will be a private place for old Haroldians and former DGA-Link members to reconnect. It also will be a spot where DMG can introduce his old pals to his favorite new friends, people who likely would have become Haroldians in the old days.
