We rescue here at Dana's Hamsters, now rescue rodents rather than breed them. Specializing in hamster's, we rarely have anything else. However, we may take in mice, rat's, guinea pig's, bunnie's, chinchilla's, etc.
We mostly take these animals from kill shelters or shelters that do not offer a foster environment. We also take them from people who find themselves unable to care for their little animals.
We are extremely nonprofit- we pay to receive the animal, we pay to get hte animal to the vet, we pay for testing in disease and diabete's, and we may even pay to ship the animal to a forever owner. We pay for our own supplies, and cages- and sometimes even give the cages away for free along with the animal.
We, obviously, don't this do this for money. However, we do ask a $5 adoption fee.
We take in, on average, 2 rodents a month. However, because of how low our funds are, we are only able to keep a max of 3 rodents.
If you'd like to help an animal in need, please read the listing's below on the animal's for adoption here at Dana's Tiny Rodent Rescue.
