The Bay Area has always been the true home of thrash. That's why it's no surprise that Oakland based band Deadringer produces a high energy, neck breaking, ear bleeding style all their own that reminds you of what real metal is all about. With ripping leads, driving rhythms, thunderous bass and literally amazing drum work, all combined with unique and impressive vocals, Deadringer delivers a performance nearly impossible to equal. In the words of one bay area metalhead, "These guys are seriously strong musicians!"

Originally formed in April 2004, Deadringer went through several different lineups before finally settling on their current configuration. After losing several vocalists, the band by chance hooked up with former Placebo Effect frontman Todd Cakus. He came in for an audition and threw down like it was meant to be. The chemistry is there and the band feels and sounds complete. Deadringer is currently in the studio recording their debut full length album. It's expected to be released some time in late 2006 - early 2007.
