The Greenville Antiwar Society is an organization of people in upstate South Carolina who work to stop war around the world.

Who we are
-We are a diverse, nonpartisan group of people who oppose war and violent conflict for a variety of reasons:
Religious, moral and ethical traditions
Deaths of innocents
Cost
Environmental Impact

What we do
-We hold weekly demonstrations against the current war in Iraq
-We organize rallies to promote peace (the PeaceOut) and to mark important milestones in the war in Iraq (2000th soldier killed, 3rd anniversary, etc.)
-We provide information to the media (interviews, letters to the editor, etc.) to promote peace

- Our website
- Weekly antiwar protests at the Greenville Federal Courthouse (Wednesday, 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the corner of Church and Washington St.)
- Periodic events such as our candle lightings
