This group is dedicated to exploring the philosophy, spiritual path, and practice of Yoga and Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism).
While the practice of Yoga has exploded in popularity in the U.S. in recent years, most practitioners still limit their Yoga experience to merely the physical benefits that Yoga offers. Yoga, however, is so much more than just the “aerobics of India”.
In addition to the profound physical and health benefits that Yoga gives us, Yoga is also a highly effective spiritual path that can provide deep meaning to our lives, inner peace and calm, lasting joy and happiness, and truly satisfying answers to life’s most important questions.
Yoga is an ancient spiritual and philosophical tradition. The goal of Yoga is self-realization and God-consciousness…and that is what this group is here to discuss and explore.
If you’re a serious spiritual seeker who wants to fully explore the spiritual dimension of life, you’re welcome to join.

This group is a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for sharing and supporting each other in our spiritual path. No rudeness, personal attacks, insults, etc. will be tolerated.
Do not use this group to advertise or promote any product, group, business, or organization.
Everyone on this list is here to sincerely pursue spiritual advancement and a deeper understanding of the Yoga tradition: Please limit comments to those related to Yoga spirituality, Hinduism, Ayurveda, bhakti, Krishna, meditation, vegetarianism, the Vedic literature, and all the many - almost unlimited! - aspects of Dharma.
You do not need to be a Yogi or Hindu to join. People of all faiths are invited to join and learn. We do require, however, that you focus your questions and comments on our spiritual tradition as much as possible.
