Kevin Max is known as the Enigmatic voice behind dctalk and The Strangers and has sold over 9 million records worldwide. Since early 2000 after a break from Forefront/EMI, Max has been on the scene as a solo artist and vocalist with astounding abilities. Named top vocalist in many magazines worldwide and winner of 4 Grammy's, Max has amazed audiences with his unique and fashionable stylism since early 2001. Stereotype Be (2001) won the singer a Scandinavian Artist award and Grammy for its release on Forefront/EMI records.



After uprooting from Nashville in early 2003, Kevin moved to LA and starred in the off-broadway musical Joseph and The Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as releasing his 3rd book of poetry The Detritus of Dorian Gray. After writing with creative masterminds such as VanDyke Parks and Mark Hudson he signed with indie label Northern Records to release THE IMPOSTER, out now on www.kevinmax.com and www.northernrecords.com. The Imposter has already met with stunning and favorable responses from critics across the globe. The Imposter continues to be a featured product at Border's statewide and is available in music stores across the country and international.



The Imposter tour began early spring 2006 and will see Kevin Max and band in no less than 6 different countries including Europe and the U.S. In May 2006, Kevin Max released his 4th book PO.ET.RY which is also available at www.kevinmax.com and select bookstores statewide. It is soon to be the first downloadable book featured on Burnlounge, of which Kevin is also a featured artist. Kevin Max continues to wow audiences with a one of a kind vocal style and can be seen almost once a month in Los Angeles at The Viper Room.



Currently, Kevin Max has made a move to Las Vegas Nevada, where he is working on a follow-up to The Imposter. He is scheduled to make his film debut in January of 2007, as the enigmatic "MAN" in the independent film "Soupernatural" (www.soupernaturalmovie.com). Max continues to play shows supporting his solo material including another upcoming tour of Europe and South America in mid 2007.
