Since I got my first used SBG 1000, I have been in love with the Yamaha SBG series of guitars. I have used my SBG 1000 (circa 1980) and a newer made in Japan SBG 700 on all three of my independently released CD's, and I play them at all of my gigs.

When I found this guitar, it spoke to me and became "my" guitar, and the Yamaha SBG has been a part of me ever since. Please feel free to share ideas here with other players, and just generally have fun speaking about this great line of guitars. It is perfectly fine to also promote the band you are in, and actually, I encourage it, as I'm in a band myself.........but.........please, no political arguing, and no put downs of others. No negativity please.
