Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students. This grant, received through the Garrett Lee Smith Act, is designed to teach students, faculty, and staff about suicidal thoughts and behavior with the overall goal of reducing the number of suicide attempts and deaths by suicide at Western Michigan University.
