The few, the proud, the members of the prestigious young writers Web site, the Young Writers Society; a group dating back to early Babylonian times when its members wrote epic tales using nothing more than a chisel and a clay tablet.

Today, YWS members may use keyboard and monitor, but the passion that drove those first members to write is no less diminished. We may no longer have chisels, but our fingers, which are frequently bruised and bloody, bear the brunt of the pain.
