Summer Glau, of
Firefly and
Serenity fame, stars as Cameron, a new terminator model that appears more human than past terminators. She’s developing a surprisingly personal relationship with John and Sarah, and we’re all waiting to see where that will lead. Summer has cybernetic character down solid, clueless about human emotions, but eager to learn.
Lena Headey plays Sarah Connor.
Most agree that she has doing a great job filling Linda Hamilton’s shoes as the new Sarah. Lena is a 34 year old British actress. She played Queen Gorgo in
300. Lena plays Sarah with a good balance of outward strength and growing compassion toward her son. She’s recognizing that he has to do more than hide until Judgement Day, and letting become more indepdent.
Thomas Dekker plays John Connor, a moody teenager. John grew quite up a lot in Season 1, and now he’s developing into the John Connor that might be a hero and leader in the future. Thomas Dekker played Claire Bennet’s sexually ambiguous friend Zach on Heroes season 1.
