This group is the outcome of my involvement and support for certain local progressive indie, post punk, new wave, blues and acoustic artists over the past several months or so.

It deals with issues like, getting signed, songwriting competitions, replication and is basically the outcome of research work around various projects for artists that I know.

It also features a link to my contacts for bands wanting to play Edinburgh, Scotland, UK etc

I am currently researching online music sales as tracks, cd's and ringtone downloads and will eventually publish the findings in a new thread.

(This is version 2 of the unsigned group. The first one had irresolveable technical issues so I had to delete it and start again.)

But come on in and if you believe in sharing and not reinventing the wheel every 5 minutes you may want to join up and contribute!
