This group is a tribute to all of the undiscovered bands from Vancouver! It is a sister group to the myspace page for Vancouvers Greatest Indie Rock! It will be used primarily to promote bands, but it’s also a fan group! Please feel free to introduce new indie(Vancouver) bands here! I hope everyone in this group will discover awesome new music and make new friends! Please do not upload any pics NOT involving indie bands from Canada, or else you WILL be banned from the group!

QUICKNESS
Quickness is soul-infused rock vocals wrapped in a wall of distorted guitars with hip hop drums and dub bass tones. Jacob's voice is at the core of the explosive dub rock jams of Quickness, whose blend of socially conscious lyrics and romanticism is right on the mark. Chris Mitchell's guitar jams add a second voice to the lush soundscape of the band, creating other worldly ambience and jam band style mysticism. The fresh dub and rocksteady flavor of quickness is solidified by Bass player David Marion (Paris, France) Drummer Ray Garraway is both the backbeat and a driving force in Quickness, re-inventing classic reggae hip hop and breakbeat patterns and delivering deep pocket grooves that lock with the big guitar aesthetic of the band.
