Up to now there is no official Sonny Landreth profile on Myspace, the only existing page had been made by an unknown fan who abandoned it in 2006, only a few months after starting it. This page was finally deleted on May 27th, 2008 either by Myspace or the user himself, and on July 7th, 2008 another unofficial profile was created under the same address.

This situation might change in the future if Sonny's management or label decides to manage an official Myspace profile, but independent from that option I thought it would be a good idea to create a fan group in the meantime.

At least there is a Myspace profile of his European label Proper Records where you can find "Blue Tarp Blues", the new song that Sonny did with Mark Knopfler. If you go to their official homepage, you can find excerpts of two more songs, "When I still had you" with Eric Clapton and "Howlin' Moon" with Dr. John and Jimmy Buffet.

There's a concert promotions company called Maxx Music, too, but they only handle the Charlotte, NC area for Sonny Landreth.

Last but not least Sonny's official homepage has a lot to offer as well, e.g. the "Lagniappe" section with rare live recordings, explanations of slide tunings etc. They offer short excerpts of his new CD "From the Reach" as well.
