My name is Andrew Sylvia. I am 27 years old and i'm running for State Representative from Merrimack, NH.

In 2004 I found myself at a crossroads. I had just graduated college and was about to enter the world of professional journalism, but the world, and my town in particular, seemed to be more divided and bereft of hope than it ever had been before due to that year's bitter election.

So, I chose to put my career on hold and run for public office.

Four years, seven times on the ballot and over 10,000 votes later, I stand ready to add my voice to the new groundswell of change in Concord and bring a new day to Merrimack.
