Most outdoor enthusiasts, and inspiring outdoor enthusiasts, live near major metropolitan areas. Many outdoor activities exist within these areas, but very little is known about these areas. You don't need to visit a National Park to experience the outdoors. Often a stroll in the park or watching leaves rustle in the wind can incite passion for the outdoors. The “Urban Outdoors” initiative that encourages users to contribute information about outdoor areas (parks, open space, forest preserves, trials, waterways, etc.) in their neighborhood.
