Our communities upstate, especially the small towns, are less than great. I know that where I live is boring, basically, meaning it's more or less geared towards the elderly, and seems to want to chase away people my age (it's working too). Are you in a similar situation? Is your town's economy less than lackluster? Is there something that you've always felt needed to be revised, corrected, or changed?
